Toeka Restaurant en Café

Over the past 45 years the Caltex garage next to the N1, just north of Worcester, on the way to Touwsriver, has become a well known beacon for Worcester and its community.

Since October 2008, its new owner has transformed this filling station, where today apart from filling up one’s vehicle it has become a welcoming resting place and dining experience for passing tourists as well as an alternative choice for the local Worcester community.

This new restaurant and café known as TOEKA, reminds one true to its name about days gone by where traditional, tasty meals are served on a daily basis.

Toeka Restaurant provides a warm, comfortable atmosphere where guests can enjoy a variety of take-aways in addition to the air-conditioned restaurant inside area. It also offers plenty of outside seating where meals can be enjoyed.

At Toeka’s Café quests can expect more than the average, with its home industry area where delicious freshly baked confectionary such as rusks, chocolate cakes, carrot cakes, fudge, milk tarts, lemon meringue tarts, peppermint crisp tarts, koeksisters, jams, pickled onions and many other traditional baked goods are on sale.

In addition TOEKA provides a service to Worcester and its community in that it focuses on a variety of clients with business breakfasts and –lunches, daily home cooked meals available for take-away and on delivery as well as catering to functions with a delicious selection of platters.

The management and staff of TOEKA are committed to give each passing guest an experience to remember through its exceptional service and fresh tasty food.

Tourists are invited to come and experience TOEKA, only 2,5km pas the last robot out of Worcester towards Touwsriver where the welcoming flags flutter and where you always find something special on the menu.
